The website LeakedSource has gathered a database of Twitter usernames and passwords that are on sale on the dark web.

LeakedSource noted in a blog post that the database contains 32,888,300 accounts: the passwords were stored as plain text and several of them seemed to belong to users in Russia.

Twitter credentials are being traded in the tens of millions on the dark web. LeakedSource has obtained and added a copy of this data to its ever-growing searchable repository of leaked data. This data set was provided to us by a user who goes by the alias “Tessa88@exploit.im”, and has given us permission to name them in this blog.

Twitter says that its systems have not been breached: hackers may have used malware to collect the credentials.
