With the Chuck Taylor All Stars, Converse is trying to create a new type of shoe that not only fits the rock and roll lifestyle, but actually helps to make it.


The project derives by a prototype of 2013 made by Cute Circuit:

The sole of the All Star uses a micro-sensor that mimics a potentiometer used in wah pedals to pick up foot movement and sending it over Bluetooth to a Mac or iPhone running an effect simulator.

The company hasn’t announced when it will begin selling the Chuck Taylor All Wahs.
