Recently i've looked again an old ukulele project: the transcription of soundtracks from old video games.



The list of games that i loved is pretty long, but one of them which i remember more pleasantly is "The Secret of Monkey Island", created by Ron Gilbert for LucasArts.

The game is a point-and-click graphic adventure game set in a fantastic version of the Caribbean during the age of piracy.
The main character is Guybrush Threepwood, a young man who dreams of becoming a pirate and explores fictional islands while solving puzzles.

The game's music was composed by LucasArts' in-house musician Michael Land in MIDI format, at his first project at the company.

The music has remained popular, and has been remixed by famous musicians and by the game's fans.

My ukulele version

My transcription is pretty simple, useful for beginners: just one little difficulty related to the irregular rhythm, easy to resolve with a bit of practice.
