Alexandr Misko, 20 years old, a great percussive-fingerstyle technique and a successful career as a musician.
Misko first caught the public’s attention with an home recorded video, where he plays an original guitar piece with a “pentapping” base:
After, his finger-tapped YouTube rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” went viral in 2016:
In the same year he released his first album album of original material called The Songs of Adolescence, and in 2017 a second album titled Beyond the Box, including some of his most popular cover songs, including renderings of Wham!’s “Careless Whisper” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” all of which performed using his personal fingerstyle technique.
In this interesting TED talk, Alexandr explains some aspects of his fingerstyle technique: precious information for guitarists, but also an intriguing overview for simple music-addicted.
